MINI BOSS CRACK IT The Game Show

On Thursday 16th February, Year 4s experienced Mini BOSS mayhem in the point-scoring, teamwork extravaganza that is CRACK IT The Game Show! This incursion is the ultimate test of teamwork. Students worked in small groups to compete for Mini BOSS glory through a series of exciting challenges designed to suit all abilities and learning styles. With five rounds of fun on offer, teams tackled tasks in engineering, lateral thinking, problem solving, maths, spelling, grammar and creativity.

From the students’ perspective…

“We ALL came out WINNERS! We needed to all cooperate with the activities and knew we could win if we showed good teamwork. We shared ideas with each other which makes for good teamwork. We talked and worked positively together. It was hard to complete the tasks with people who you are not used to working with. It took a while to get used to it. In the end we succeeded! We each had a role like the ‘Golden Tongue,’ ‘Number Wiz,’ ‘Almighty Gatherer,’ ‘Agent of Unity,’ and ‘The Brain of Ideas.’ It made it more fun because we got to pick which role we wanted. We also made up our own team names and scored points for the tasks and how well we collaborated. The Year 4s had a blast and they all loved it!”
