MusoMagic

MusoMagic spent last week at Rumbalara in Shepparton Victoria. 

An initiative of RIAC (Rights, Information, Advocacy Centre) in Shepparton, we brought together students from Verney Road School to create their own anthem and video clip about standing up for who they are. 

The rights and potential of these young people was negotiated out as lyrics, recorded by all, and then emphasised as they acted in their own clip below. The MusoMagic team also worked with 7 young people from proud local Aboriginal families who assisted as mentors to help build the capacity of our students, while at the same time develop their own leadership skills as strong young people representing their Yorta Yorta and Bangerang heritage. 

We hope you all proudly share the story of these young Goulburn Valley legends and spread the joy.
