Summer twilight Series #4

Town event at Elizabeth Park, Armidale

On Thursday 23rd February Northern Tablelands Orienteering Club is hosting an event at Elizabeth Park O’Dell St (off Donnelly St) Armidale. There is no need to register in advance, just turn up on the day. Newcomers of any age and ability can join in at their own pace individually or in small groups.

 

Starts             Between 5pm and 6pm

Close              6.45pm

45 min course

Entry fee $5

 

You will need a smart mobile phone with the free MapRun6 app downloaded onto it. A new version of MapRun6 can be found on their web site. Experienced orienteers can show you how to get started. Look out for banners showing where the event starts. Park on the side of road leaving enough room for others to pass. Dogs are permitted at town events but must be on a lead.

Harlequins Hockey Club

 

Harlequins Hockey Club are seeking expressions of interest from players interested in playing junior hockey this year. We will be fielding teams in Under 8s, 11s, 13s and 15s girls in the Saturday morning competition.

 

Please send an email nominating your child's intention to play, which age division(s) they want to play in, date of birth, address and parental email and phone contact.

Family Connect and Support has capacity to take referrals

Family Connect and Support is a FREE and voluntary referral service that links families caring for children aged 0-17 with local support services and community resources.

 

We have Practitioners who are ready to work with Families in the Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha area’s immediately and making a referral is easy!

 

FCS provides services across New England and has practitioners based in Inverell, Moree, Tenterfield, Armidale and Tamworth who provide outreach to surrounding communities.
