Library Lovers' Day

February 14th is a date we all know as Valentine’s Day, but did you know that it is also Library Lovers' Day and is celebrated in Libraries all over Australia.

To celebrate this event at NCS, our primary students were invited to the Library Cafe to take part in a Book Tasting. Students got to taste many new books from different genres and write a short review on whether the author hooked them in after reading the first few pages. The cafe was a popular place to be and looking at the large stack of books that were placed on reserve I would say that we may have some returning customers when we open the cafe again later in the year.
