Chapel and Assembly

Families are welcome to come along to the Church for Chapel on Wednesday mornings from 9am and to the hall for Assemblies on Friday mornings from 9am. Please note that our first whole school Assembly will be in Week 6 (Friday 10 March) led by the Community Leaders and JVC children. Chapel and Assemblies will continue to be livestreamed on our closed group on Facebook each week.

Wednesday Chapel

Chapel in Term 1 has begun with a focus on the people that Jesus met and interacted with, and what we can take away from these meetings and moments in Jesus’s Life. Later in Term 1 we will shift to the theme of Holy Week but we will continue to look at Jesus and this amazing story through the eyes of people who encountered him during this time.

Thank you to Miss Bakewell and Miss Woodward for leading us today with the story of Jesus and the Sinful Woman and for Mrs Mattner, Pastor Matt & Vicar Tom for leading  our School Leader Installation.

The remainder of the Term 1 Chapels will be led by:

Welcome Annabel Coleman to our Teaching Team

We welcome Annabel to 4 Coleman for Semester 1.

Annabel shares: My name is Annabel Coleman. I have been a part of the St Paul Community for a year now and I am very excited to be teaching Year 4 this year. I am passionate about child wellbeing, lifelong learning and enjoying new experiences that allow me to step outside of my comfort zone. I love to be active and spend as much time as possible outdoors (typically at the beach, a park, or hiking), with my family and friends, and travelling and exploring new cultures. I am looking forward to learning and growing within the St Paul community this year.

Please join us as we welcome Annabel to our St Paul Lutheran School Community.

Inclusive Education 2023 - Danielle Nak

This year, we welcome some new staff members to the Inclusive Education Team. Previous classroom teacher Claire Fisher is now the Inclusive Education Teacher who has been working closely with children and teachers in Years Two to Four.  We also welcome Marisa Cameron to the school as part of the Inclusive Education Team for the first six months who will then be the Reception teacher for the new mid-year intake. Marisa has been working closely with our new Receptions and Year Ones and has a wealth of experience and knowledge with a range of interventions. Bec Mattner is also supporting the Year Fives and Seniors for the first six months as she has taken on the role of the Wellbeing Teacher.

The teachers have been working closely with your child to get to know their individual needs and consulting with myself and members of the respective Inclusive Education Team. For children who have Individual Learning Plans, the format of these has changed this year and we are also working closely with teachers to be able to provide more specific information about the support provided. Teachers will be in contact in due course to discuss and consult with you on these plans as required.

We look forward to working in partnership with you this year.
