Last Friday the 1st of March, Black Rock competed against both Brighton and Brighton Beach. In hot conditions, our students again represented the school with great pride and showed terrific sportsmanship.

BRPS will be competing against Sandringham East. Games will begin at approximately 9.30am. Students will return to school at approximately 11.00am. A list of venues have been provided below and also on COMPASS:

BRPS House Swimming Carnival
On March 4th we had our 2019 Black Rock House Swimming Carnival at GESAC. What a day it was with some fantastic performances and brilliant efforts by all!!!
Each swimmer demonstrated advanced skill and determination, which resulted in some close races and exciting competition.
Those who acheived the fastest times in their events now go on to compete at the "Seaside District Swimming Carnival" at MSAC on Thursday the 7th of March. We wish them all the best.

Running Club
Running sessions will continue to take place each Wednesday & Friday,
It is suggested that due to Year 5/6 interschool sport, the Friday sessions cater to Year 3/4 students.
Venue: School Oval
Time: Wednesday & Friday mornings - 8.25am for an 8.30am start
Bring: A water bottle, running shoes and any necessary medication (e.g. asthma inhalers)
