Welcome Back

Great to see so many happy faces all around the school. The school is really alive and vibrant. This term is a really busy one for the kids, especially in the 4-6 Area, now that they are going on camp this term in a few weeks.

This year we have placed all parents/guardians who provided an email address with the enrolment form onto the mail out list. Reminder we do not send out paper copies. If you believe you are not on the mailing list you can join from the actual inewsletter site.

School Council Election

School council election process will commence on Monday 10/02/2020. If any parent wishes to nominate for a position please come to the office to collect a Nomination form.

Buildings & Grounds

Entrances to the school

We have arranged for students to egress and exit the school grounds via 4 gateways:

Murphy Street - Main entrance in front of the office & double gates students use to access bike racks . These gates will be open daily 8.30 am - 9.15am. The double gate will be reopened 3.15pm - 4.15.pm

Elizabeth Street - Far west corner next to the shops. This will be open daily 8.45 am - 9.10 am & 3.20 pm - 3.45 pm only.

Symons Street laneway - Between the large water tanks. This will be open daily 8.45 am - 9.10 am & 3.20 pm - 3.45 pm only.

The driveway will be closed from 8.45 am and will reopen 3.45 pm. This is not a pedestrian walkway, and we ask that you comply with our request and not use this to enter or exit the school with your child at anytime.

Grounds

Falling Tree Limb

Over the weekend a large tree limb dropped from a tree near the playground equipment at the Symons Street end of the school. As a result we are having all trees audited and where required trees will be pruned to make them safe.

Line Making

Asphalt areas have been line marked for games. Another great addition to our growing school.

Air-conditioning

We have installed four new window air conditioners into the four 5/6 classrooms.

Fees & Charges

We ask that parents please keep up to date with any fees and charges they may incur through the school or in Aftercare.

Assembly & Bell Times

Our weekly assembly will now happen on Thursdays at 3.oo - 3.25pm. This will be in the quadrangle. If the weather is unkind at this time then we will cancel the assembly for that week.

First bell of the day - 9.00 am We expect children to be at school no later than 8.50 am.

Lunch Break - 11.00 am

Lunch Finish - 11.45 am

Lunch eating time - 11.45 - 12.00 pm

Afternoon Recess - 2.00 - 2.30 pm
