NAIDOC DAY @ TPS

TPS is celebrating NAIDOC 2023 on Friday 18th August and we need your help to make this a great day of community celebration. In the morning teachers will host a community breakfast and there will be a coffee cart for the adults. There will be a special assembly and student activities throughout the day. 

The NAIDOC Committee would love to end NAIDOC day celebrations with a community BBQ and we need your help to run the BBQ. 

Jobs to be done are:

- Set up and pack up (need to be available from 2.30 for set up)

- Cooking and serving (1-hour shifts)

- Encouraging parents/ carers in your class to help at the BBQ, spreading the word amongst your friendship groups/Facebook/Whats App groups

Run sheets and support are available, no previous experience is necessary.

MS Readathon

TPS is pleased to be continuing its involvement with the MS readathon. The readathon is a great opportunity for your children to improve their reading and to raise money for a good cause in the process. The readathon is an annual event to raise money for families with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a chronic neurological disease. Families can set their own goals for reading.
