Welcome back to Green Team!
We have been hard at work over the last two weeks, keeping our chickens happy and harvesting some delicious vegetables and herbs.
The cold weather has slowed down the chicken’s egg laying a little bit. Remember, we have fresh eggs and some produce available for purchase on Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
For the rest of the year, Green Team will focus on our garden and continue to plant out our patch to ensure a range of vegetables and herbs are available for our students to experience. Remember that Garden Club runs for the second half of lunch on Mondays, and Green Team runs for lunch on Wednesdays. Everyone is welcome, just meet us at the Chicken Coop.
We’d like to thank everyone who has been part of the Wonder Bread Recycling Program for this year. We are still taking donations of empty bread bags up until August 2nd.
