Production

A huge Congratulations to the production team and students involved in the standout performances of Aladdin Jr. This production managed to smash Bayside's ticket sale records with a total of 1,050 tickets sold! As the dust settles on what was a fun and exciting week, it was a privilege to watch the school community rally behind this group of highly talented students.

When we started out on this journey the theme behind the scenes in the production devotions was working together as a production team much like the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:12 says  There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ.

We discussed how one part is of no more value or importance than another and that all the parts must work together in harmony to create something wonderful. Although some parts are front and center and others are behind the scenes the show can not work with one of those parts missing. The Aladdin Jr team definitely worked together as one and produced something superb. I think this production emulates how us as a school community can impact the world around us.

Each of us has the ability to empower others and we all have a specific part to play which will be different from the person next to us and that is ok! If we all work together for His Glory great things can be achieved. We thank the students and production team for their time and commitment and for blessing our school community with their gifts and talents. We are so very proud of you.

It was very fun to close the door on the 2023 Production with a party while we viewed the recording of the show. What an experience for the 75 students involved. If you would like to be involved in productions in the future as an adult volunteer please make the production team aware of your willingness to serve.
