YOUNG SCHOOL AMBASSADORS!

As a school community on Wednesday the 21st June we welcomed students and teachers from Maramba Kindergarten to spend the morning exploring our school grounds.

Our fast-growing Foundation students showed welcoming smiles and friendly actions as they played with the kindergarten students on our pirate ship, climbing frames, grass area and across our dry creek bed.

It was delightful to see our students, only six months into their schooling journey talk with pride about our school what they enjoy learning about.

In the coming months we will be inviting other neighbouring kindergartens to join us, allowing us a chance to share what we love best – Our School!   It’s our Maramba way!

MARAMBA SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL!

What an amazing day it was for our Maramba Primary School Athletics Carnival!

Our students showcased their athleticism, determination, and team spirit. The day was filled with thrilling competitions, enthusiastic cheers, and a true display of sportsmanship.

The track and field events unfolded with remarkable talent and enthusiasm. From sprinting and high jump to shot put and relay races, our young athletes put in a massive effort striving for their personal best.

I thank all the teachers, helpers and parent volunteers who dedicated their time and effort to make this event a grand success.

Congratulations to all the students for their efforts and remarkable achievements.

PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE

The holidays are a great time to work on completing the Premier’s Reading Challenge!

Congratulations to Manal from the Persistent Pod for being our Super Reader of the Week!

This week, the class who completed the most reading was the Creative Crew

It is great to see so many students who have already completed the challenge and many more students on their way.

There are 77 days remaining!

THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING FOM

Our school is incredibly fortunate to have our wonderful Friends of Maramba [FOM] and as always we are extremely grateful for all they do for our school community. Last Sunday our amazing FOM volunteers gave up part of their weekend to run a community BBQ at Bunnings Fountain Gate.  The Bunnings BBQ is always a profitable success and Sunday was no exception. The benefits for all our students and school community from the time given by these volunteers is immense.

We would like to thank and show appreciation to our volunteers who helped on the day:

Raelene Anderson, Megan Kinsella, Lauren Matthews, Lucy Amorosi, Jenn and Gus Fagundez, Wendy Reichert, Melissa Barker, Daniela George & Lucy Shen.

We would also like to thank all the families from our school that came down to Bunnings just to buy a sausage!
