Uniform News
Yellow Polo Tops
We would like to remind families that this is the final year that the 'old' yellow short sleeve and long sleeve polo tops can be worn by students. It is expected that all NLPS students will wear the blue short or long sleeve polo tops (available from DCS Uniform) from Term 1, 2024.
All other 'old' uniform items can be continued to be worn and it is intended that these will phase out over time.
Yellow Top Recycling Program
We have partnered with uniform recycling service 'Upparel' to provide families with a sustainable way to dispose of their yellow tops. From the start of Term 3, a tub will be available at the front office for families to leave their yellow tops only for recycling.

Second-Hand Uniform & Bake Sale
Parent's Club will be running a second-hand uniform and bake sale after school on Friday 28th July outside the Multi-Purpose Room (weather permitting). Parent's Club are looking for volunteers to set up and run the stalls on the day.

And of course, your donation of delicious homemade goodies for the bake stall will be greatly appreciated on the day - look out for more information next term.
Second-Hand Uniform Donations
From Term 3, there will be a tub available in the front office for families to donate second-hand uniform to be included in the upcoming sale. Donations are gratefully received and we thank families in advance for ensuring the uniform is washed and in good condition for re-sale.
Volunteers for Lost Property
From next term, Parent's Club will run a fortnightly 'sort and organise' of lost property to help stay on top of the mountain of lost uniform piled up at the front office. We are looking for a volunteer each fortnight to spend around 30min going through lost property to sort, organise and tidy. If you can help out on a Friday afternoon, please register here.
What is Parents Club?
The aim of our Parents Club is to bring the NLPS community together while having some fun. We raise funds for school equipment, resources for the children and also charities in our community. Some events that we run include:

- Cake Stall
- Parent Social Nights
- Icy Pole Day
- Weekly Fresh Fruit Platter for Prep-Grade 2
- Mothers & Fathers Day Celebrations
- World Teachers Day Celebration
- New Prep Student Play Dates

Parent Club Meetings
Parent Club meets each month. Meetings are usually held at The Junction Hotel at 7pm. All NLPS parents & carers are welcome to attend.
