The crisp surroundings set the stage for another breathtaking sunrise, evoking a deep sense of gratitude within the FN Golden Bay team.

 

Matariki celebrations

First National colleagues from across the country had a wonderful time celebrating Matariki over the long weekend. They enjoyed getting out and about while spending quality time with family and friends. Discover the experiences of some of them below.

Just cruising!

Kelly Balwin, Sales Consultant from FN Collective (Hawera) had a wonderful day cruising with her family and 2 dogs Ellie and Toby along Lake Rotorangi the largest artificial lake in Taranaki.  

 

They got to test out their newly acquired red jetski, a fantastic find from their local garage. Initially, not in working condition, the jetski was easily fixed with a new battery much to the surprise of the sellers. 

 

Sunrises & mid-winter swimming

James Abell, Sales Consultant from FN Progressive, had an exhilarating morning adventure! After waking up at 5.30 am to witness the beautiful Matariki (Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters, in the Northern Hemisphere), the group gathered to witness the sunrise at 7.53 am at the beach Cathedral Gully.

 

To finish off someone proposed the idea of a mid-winter swim in the chilly 10-degree Pacific surf.

 

All Blacks vs South Africa

Esme Cole, Principal of FN Platinum (Tuakau), had a thrilling time watching the All Blacks triumph over South Africa with a final score of 35-20!

 

Birthday Weekend

Haylie Gargan, an administrator for FN Collective (New Plymouth), had a fantastic weekend celebrating her birthday. She enjoyed watching the captivating Aladdin Pantomime in Hawera and had a great time with loved ones at the Winter Festival of Lights.

 

Go the Warriors

Kathleen Perrett rural specialist from FN Collective (Taranaki) celebrated at Mt Smart Stadium, as the Warriors triumphed with a stunning 44-12 victory against the Cronulla Sharks. 

 

BBQ & bubbles

Angie Campbell, Admin & Marketing Manager for FN Progressive (Christchurch) celebrated Matariki Kiwi style with a BBQ and bubbles.

Winter Giveaway

FN Roper & Jones ran a giveaway where their followers could nominate a manager, coach, umpire or volunteer to win a First National Umbrella. Six umbrellas were won keeping these heroes dry in style.
