Grade 1 and 2
đ CBL - Diversity
The Grade 1s and 2s have thoroughly enjoyed joining together in mixed groups to explore the many diverse animals in the world. We are learning about and studying  animals from the Amazon, Africa, the ocean, Australia and the polar regions. The enthusiasm is immense, especially when discovering a previously unheard of animal! The students are creating their own fact sheets about one animal from each of the regions to extend their in-depth knowledge about an animal.

đŻGymnastics
Our Grade 1s and 2s simply love going to gymnastics! The adventure, excitement and possibility of their parents being there has made the excursion even more enjoyable The sessions include core strength work like rolling, tumbling, jumping and climbing.Â
We are very proud of the way our students have represented Wonga Park Primary School.
NAIDOC Week
The Grade 1s and 2s have been building their knowledge of Aboriginal culture and more specifically the importance of Aboriginal elders in the community through picture story books and lots of discussions. We have also talked about the history of Australia and some of the famous Aboriginal elders of our time.
