VoiceQuake @ Festival of Voices

Drawn from all sections of the school and including senior secondary students, The Friends’ School choir - VoiceQuake has been rehearsing since the beginning of Term 2, as part of their participation in the Choir Challenge at the Festival of Voices. They’ve drawn together people who don’t normally cross paths with each other during a school day, from various sections of administration, IT, to learning assistants and teachers, and let’s not forget the students. In fact, one of the students has been taught by one of the choir members since kindergarten!  The choir has had fun shaking off the school day with a sing and dance.

A part of their participation in the Choir Challenge is to raise funds for the Hobart City Mission who provide food, clothing, counselling, emergency and long-term accommodation for people facing hardship and homelessness in our community.

If you would like to donate, you can do so here. Otherwise, you can see and hear them this Saturday evening - 8 July - in Choir Challenge at the Federation Concert Hall - click here for tickets.
