Highlights!

So far this term the Grade 6 students have been looking at fine tuning their persuasive writing skills. There were many convincing arguments as to why Mr. Joyce should not shut down the canteen!

In reading we looked at identifying if the author is using ethos; an appeal to character or credibility, pathos; an appeal to emotion and logos; an appeal to logic or reason. 

In Maths the students have studied further upon our multiplication and division skills. We have also been reading and Interpreting time, as well as revising AM, PM 12 hr and 24 hr time. We also studied chance and probability this term.

In Humanities we have continued to work on our Geography assignment of comparing and contrasting Australia to the country of the students choice.
