Writing
- Write a sentence and draw a matching picture of something they did.
- Practice writing all the letters of the alphabet
Reading
We have learnt all the letters of the alphabet! Students can practice their sound deck and read their books over the holidays. Heart Words covered so far are: said, I, a, to, here, my, see, the, with, come, for ,was, he, she. Ask your child to show you the actions for each Heart word.

Maths
- Students could practice counting forward and backwards for numbers 0- 20.
- Ask what comes before and after numbers to 10.
- Practice writing numbers 0-10.
- Can students find some 2D shapes around the house? (circles, squares, triangles and rectangles)

Wellbeing
- Over the holidays, identify strengths you can see your child demonstrating. For example, sharing, kindness, persistence, patience, confidence, creativity and respect.
Reminders
We have noticed there are many children who come to school with laces. If they can't tie their laces, it is recommended they have velcro shoes. Here is a video to assist with learning to tie laces.

Inquiry
Students used what they learnt during the term to design and create an imaginary animal which included body parts from different animals. Students loved using materials to construct their animal and were keen to show case their animal to the Year 6s.
Zanna & The Lost Code Incursion
Students enjoyed the exciting theatre incursion about positive online experiences. They learnt some important messages from the show and one of the chants were, “Knowledge is power!”
