Connect: Year 3

Yay! It's time for a break, to unwind and to enjoy! We are so proud of the students' and their progress this semester. We hope you enjoy reading your child's progress and please contact us if you have any questions. 

We would also like to extend a big thank you for coming and meeting with us on Monday. It was an absolutely freezing day with all kinds of weather! If you had to cancel or could not make an appointment, please let us know and we can organise a time in early Term Three. 

A few quick reminders:

• First day back is Monday 10th of July.
• We have Professor Bunsen visiting on the first Tuesday & Wednesday of the term. Please ensure payment and permission is handed in ready for the performance!
• Please keep up some holiday reading! 

What have we been up to?

As the term came to a close we enjoyed a range of activities:

Reading under the desks! Ms Hamill's grade got a bit cheeky and practised their reading under the tables, with special little lights and everything!

We participated in the simultaneous story time. This years book was 'The Speedy Sloth'. The students completed a book review... we think they turned out beautiful! 

Finally, we thought we would share the two handouts we put out on Monday. One is 30 ways to say 'How was your day?' and another which gives some ideas to strengthen literacy and numeracy skills at home.

We hope you have a lovely break and hopefully some sunshine makes an appearance!
