Term 1 Wrap Up

We have certainly had a busy and productive start to the year! As we reflect on this term, we are able to celebrate all of the wonderful opportunities our students have received in order to further their academic, emotional, sporting and creative abilities!

Everything we do at St. Joseph's is underpinned by the Living Well, Learning Well Framework. Over the past 10 weeks, our students have explored what it means to be safe, to be valued, respected and cared for and what it means to be a learner. As we progress through 2021, we will continue to embed this framework with the staff, students and families of St. Joseph's School, ensuring that our school is one of hope and opportunity.

From morning bell to home time, our classrooms are places of productivity. From building our Mathematics skills, to increasing our reading and writing abilities, then on to strengthening our spiritual connections and broadening our awareness of the world around us, there is certainly a lot to fit into a day. Our teachers have worked tirelessly to provide a calm and welcoming environment for our students with their needs at the forefront of all they do.

Our students have been fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities this term such as World Read Aloud Day, Swimming Carnival, First Holy Communion, Leadership Day, Art Competition, St. Joseph's Day, Marvellous Mufti and Movie Day, Spelling Bee and visiting with members from Eloura. There's still more to come to close the term: the Easter Hat Parade, Easter raffle and Stations of the Cross.

I would like to express my gratitude to the staff, students and families of St. Joseph's School for their efforts this term and wish everyone a well deserved break over the Easter holiday.
