Open Night 

If you missed Greensborough College EXPLORE Open Night then, we’re sorry to say that you missed a wonderful evening. Let’s get you caught up! 

95 student representatives joined with the whole staff on EXPLORE Open Night to show what Greensborough has to offer at our Subject Fair and to give prospective students a feel for our school community. Having met our students, visitors have understood why Greensborough College is placed top in the state, with a community of happy, healthy and resilient kids. Our students shone on EXPLORE Open Night, leading proceedings, taking school tours, interacting with prospective parents and students. Our students are proud to have helped prospective parents and students to understand what it is like to be a member of the Greensborough College school community each day. They are proud to have helped Grade 5’s and 6’s to make their decisions about the next major step in their lives- going on to secondary school.  

Prospective parents and students alike were keen to find out about our new school buildings and were awed by our state of the art facilities including: new AFL oval, FIFA standard soccer pitch and Pavillion, Sport Stadium, Athletic Development Centre, Music and Manual and Food Technology Rooms. EXPLORE Open Night visitors saw the on-going construction of our new Science Centre, Library and Learning Hubs.

Student leaders presented to staff about their personal experiences of academic and social learning at Greensborough College, while staff leaders provided an insight into our Greensborough College Programs.  

Parents and students heard about our progressive approach to education, our capacity to tailor the learning to the needs of our students through using data and providing suitable supports and extension to support student academic and personal growth.  

We want to extend our gratitude to the many families who joined us on EXPLORE Open Night. We enjoyed your company and hope to see you all again soon.
