Achievement - congratulations Sarah!

National Life Saving Championships Gold Medalist

NHS Year 10 student Sarah Robinson competed last month in the Victorian State Life Saving Championships along with her team in the 5 person Rescue & Resuscitation (R&R) event. They were undefeated all season and managed to win the gold medal at states.

Then on the 15th April Sarah and the team were in Perth to compete at the “Aussies” the National Life Saving Championships. Eight teams competed in two heats and Sarah and the girls from the South Melbourne Life Saving Club made it into the finals, where six teams battled it out for medals. Competing in tough conditions, against strong competition, Sarah and her team won the gold medal.
