Students at Kilbreda are privileged to have many opportunities to engage in authentic learning that makes a real difference in their world. Over the past few weeks students have raised their concerns and added their voice to campaigns that raise awareness of important issues:

• Harmony Week
• Close the Gap Day
• National Day of Action Against Bullying

It was wonderful to have Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti from the Essendon Bombers join us for Close the Gap Day. Anthony shared his story with the Year 9 BRIDGES classes, and an abridged version of this interview and a prayer for Close the Gap Day was shared with all students.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Thank you for partnering with us through the opportunity to participate in parent/teacher interviews. We value meeting with you to discuss the progress of students. Families who experienced difficulty connecting due to the technical glitch will be contacted by the Administration team to work out an alternative time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Staff Professional Learning Day - 

Student Free

Friday 23 April (first Friday of Term 2) is scheduled as a student free day to provide a professional learning day for staff. Continual professional development is an important component of teaching and provides staff with the opportunity to connect with the latest research and work collaboratively to improve teacher practice.
