Learning and Teaching 

Welcome back to Learning for 2022!

It has been amazing to witness the excitement on our student faces as they re-entered the school grounds after a long break. 

This Term our staff have been planning engaging units of work under the parameter of 'Through Christ: Dare to Love, Dare to Learn, Dare to Lead.' This unit of work provides an opportunity for positive relationships to be built in classrooms, levels and across the school. It explores respect for ourselves, others and the world we live in. It enables our students to develop an understanding of how we learn and that the choices we make can impact the way our team members learn. Importantly it raises the question of how we can help others and ways we can give back to the community.

We are all continuing to encourage the importance of making mistakes, acknowledging them and learning from them. Like the great Michael Jordan said:

In consultation with Fr Andrew and our wonderful staff we established our key values for St Louis De Montfort's and their link to scripture. a couple of years ago. This year we are continuing to raise their profile and there is a real focus on a specific value each term. For Term One our value is 'Community - Let the Little Children Come to Me.'
