John Morgan - Class of 2021

The College is delighted to announce that John Morgan (class of 2021) has been selected to perform his outstanding Theatre Studies Monologue Exam from 2021 in Top Class - Theatre Studies 2022, part of the VCE Season of Excellence. He will perform to a considerable audience at the Arts Centre on 28th of March. 

This is a huge honour for John as it places him inside the top 0.5% of the state. Congratulations to all that have taught him at both Bentleigh East and Mentone for the part you have played in this young man’s development. 

A small group of students, John’s Drama/Theatre teachers and Deb Frizza will be travelling into the city to see him perform.

Tom Murphy - Class of 2021

We are delighted to announce that Tom Murphy’s recording SAC for VET Music Production has been selected for VCAA’s Top Designs and will be presented at Melbourne Museum.

As the Sound Engineer/Producer, Tom was responsible for the research into how to record, edit, mix and master the songs that he chose.  Looking at the genre (music style), studying the instrumentation and in discussions with the musicians, planning the recording location, recording techniques and applications.  In this case his mixing has suited to a headphone mix.

Reunions

We are hoping to reboot our reunion program this year and aim to commence in Term 2, 2022. At this stage we will be including all year levels who have missed out in previous years due to the pandemic.
