Library News
The ability to read is a crucial foundation for success in your schooling, your career and your life. Being able to read is a life skill that boosts self-confidence, broadens career opportunities and supports independence.
Just imagine for one moment that you couldn’t read, what life would be like? You couldn’t read signs, documents, street directions, air plane tickets and medicine bottles. The list goes on and on. And I haven’t even said anything about reading a novel for pleasure.
Bluffing your way through the day, the week the month, must take it’s its toll on you. Using memory tactics, and body language won’t always be able to help you.
I could not visualize life without reading anything, let alone a book. Your life would be very restrictive. Everyday moments become everyday problems, it’s not a very pleasant outlook.
Continue to read, help others to read, and it doesn’t always have to be novel.

All Cats are on the Autism Spectrum
by Kathy Hoopman
'All Cats are on the Autism Spectrum' is my favourite book present in the library as it a topic that I had never read up on, or explored before. The book goes into depth about the world of autism that reflects typical autistic traits found in individuals. Overall, the book is a very interesting read and is written by Kathy Hoopman who has written similar books on this topic.
