Resource Centre

Resource Centre Business

Welcome back to school! Our Primary Students have already started the school with a number of classes having visited the Resource Centre as part of their fortnightly Library Lesson.

Library Lovers Month.

Over the Month of February we will be running a number of events

 “Blind date with a book”

Beginning Monday we will be running “Blind date with a book”.  Over the last few weeks Resource Centre Staff have been busy wrapping books and adding clues to the wrapping. Library users will then be able to borrow books that are age appropriate (we have created a system that allows students to choose from the correct collection for them i.e. Picture story books are wrapped in red paper or Years 5- 9 series have a purple stripes etc).

We encourage all students to borrow a book and take it home and open it with their families to find out what they have selected.

Library Lovers’ day

Library Lovers’ day  is on the Monday 14th of February, 2022. We encourage as many students to visit the Resource Centre on this day. The first 20 students who borrow during lunchtime or Recess will receive a goodie bag.

We will also be running lunchtime activities for the day.

We love books Display

We are currently working on building a window display “ We Love Books". The heart of the phrase will be created with the photos supplied by students of their family members reading.  We are looking forward to seeing what the end result will look like.

We are still  accepting photos submissions you can send them via email to library@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au or mheight@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au

Keep reading everyone!
