From the Business Manager

A warm welcome to all our students, parents and carers.   While 2022 hasn’t started as we had hoped, we are looking forward to another positive year.

Thank you very much to all the parents who volunteered to assist with the Rapid Antigen Tests distribution.  This was greatly appreciated, and really helped it to be a streamlined process.  We are expecting a second delivery of tests next week, and will be glad of anyone who is able to help again.  More details will be distributed through the Parents and Friends.

During the summer break the Primary School office was refurbished.  It is looking refreshed, vibrant and professional. A special thanks to our Maintenance Manager Dean Walton for coordinating this project. We also completed a host of routine maintenance during January including painting, replacement of carpets and various other tasks.  We are expecting the music pods to arrive late next month.

The School is continuing to distribute a significant number of masks to students.  It has been suggested that students could have a supply of masks in their locker, for the days when they forget to bring a mask to school.

We have been doing some behind the scenes research into streamlining bus services for students travelling from Deniliquin. We hope to be in a position within the next couple of months to begin some consultation with parents regarding the feasibility of a direct service from Deniliquin/Mathoura to the School.  Additionally we are speaking with the bus operators regarding more direct travel from Kyabram areas.  Watch this space!

I would also like to acknowledge once again all the businesses and parents who supported our student awards in 2021.  We had a fantastic response, and our students were delighted.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you wish to be involved for 2022.
