Clay Target Championships

On Monday 15 October, Lilydale High School sent a strong contingent of sporting shooters to 

the School Clay Target Championships held at Benalla Field & Game.

This is a prestigious competition that attracts schools (23) from as far away as New South Wales and as diverse as Geelong Grammar, Catholic College Wodonga and Yea High School.

The Lilydale guns were accurate and finished high in the overall rankings.

A special mention to;  Adrian Van Putten for achieving outright second, Darcy Lloyd and Taylah Tillotson who came equal third in their individual categories. The Lilydale team comprising of  Seth Haines, Taylah Tillotson, Caleb Thompson and Adrian Van Putten were declared the overall champion team for shooters new to the sport.

Many thanks to Dave Blaxland and Andrew Box for driving the students up to Benalla and back again.
