EMR Athletics Carnival

On Friday 12 October at Knox Athletics track, twenty-five students made it through to Regional Athletics Day. It was a beautiful day to be competing in the events because of the lovely sunshine, although the sun did have a bit of heat effecting everyone competing.

Congratulations to the students at Lilydale High

School who brought back 14 medals.

Congratulations also to Cael Elliot making it into state for javelin, James Laven making it into 3k and 1500m, Georgia Laven making it into 400m, 800m and 1500m, Maddie Laven getting into 3k, 800m and 1500m and Mia Strudley making it into 800m, 1500m and steeplechase.

Next Monday 22 October, is the State Championships at Albert Park.

Congratulations to all Lilydale High school students who competed in the events on the day , they tried their best to win a place in state.
