The boys from both the June- July trip and the September trip have been very busy with their fundraising efforts. With wristbands, chocolate bars and hot chips among the items on offer around the school. The MAD money covers the costs for the building work – our task this year is the construction of a new volunteers accommodation, which will allow more SBC students the opportunity to experience the Outreach program. The fundraising money covers some of the costs for items needed by the orphans who live at  Parmenie school. With this year’s requirements being school back-backs and rugby balls.

A big Lasallian thank you to Lisa Murie (Harrison’s mum, Harrison is part of the September trip) who organised through her contacts at Star of the Sea College to have 24 rugby balls, a kit bag and several sports pumps to be donated to our cause. A massive thank-you to Mark Ryan from Creative Endeavours who generously donated all of this gear and even had the bag embroidered for us.
