FISHER ACTION GROUPS

Students will continue to have a 'voice' through a new Fisher initiative - STUDENT ACTION GROUPS. This replaces Forum  groups which have been in place over the past few years.

The ACTION GROUPS will be student led. 

There will be 5 action groups each with a specific focus. These include: 

• School environment
• Local environment
• Care and Concern - global
• Care and Concern - local 
• Student Events

Students across Fisher have nominated to be involved with one of the action groups. Each group has a management committee comprised of elected representatives. Each committee will be comprised of  a chairperson, secretary, finance officer and media liaison.

Each group will be identify a “cause” to action. The aim is  to incorporate concepts from Business and Economics curriculum together with promoting empathy and responsibility.
