Assistant Principal

Report
Hello parents, students and the Scoresby Secondary College community. My name is Chris Knight, your new Assistant Principal. I commenced at Scoresby Secondary College at the beginning of Term 3 coming to Scoresby as an experienced Assistant Principal and having taught in the Eastern and Southern Regions.
I am proud to have joined a College which has such a strong vision and I can honestly say equal commitment of staff and students to bring this vision into a reality.
In the short time that I have been at the College, I have had the opportunity to meet with many students and families at the Information Nights. I have felt very welcomed by all. I've had the pleasure of going into classrooms and witnessing our teachers and students in action. It is evident that the learning intentions in all classrooms are providing a clear purpose for what is being taught and the strategy to personalise learning is engaging students with their learning. These together with the documented guaranteed and viable curriculum provide solid foundations for improved student outcomes.
I’m very excited about having the opportunity to work with the staff, students and the Scoresby Secondary College community over the coming years. I look forward to the continued growth of our great College.
