On Monday 29 April, Lilydale High had their Cross Country. For the Year 7's it was compulsory but for other year levels it was optional.
The course was three kilometers and was held at the Lillydale Lake. The students had to run a lap around the lake.
At the end, lots of medals and awards were presented to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place runners.
When running around the lake, you saw amazing scenery and it was a really fun and challenging day for everyone. Everyone who joined in had a great time and pushed themselves to the limit.

I believe I speak for the whole Year 7, when I say we had a blast this year at camp. This camp was about having fun and coming out of your comfort zone when it came to trying different things especially the activities but most importantly making new friends and talking to different people you may have never met before in the school grounds.
At the CYC Camp, there was a pool and inground trampolines, as well as crate climbing, archery and rock climbing. The two activities that were a bit more challenging were the giant swing and abseiling. We also got a chance to go mini golfing and to the lollie shop!
Overall, we had a blast. Thank you to all the staff members and CYC staff for an amazing trip and definitely one to remember!
