Senior Personal Development Skills Day with Yarra Ranges Special Disability School

Tuesday 19 March - Yarra Ranges Special Disability School

Throughout Term 1, the Senior Personal Development Skills class worked tirelessly on their major project,  creating a day involving both art and sport for the students at the Yarra Ranges Special Disability School (YRSDS).

The day was a great success as shown by the email received by one of the YRSDS teachers who attended:

“I know our boys really loved the experience and I was so impressed with your students who treated our students with respect and dignity.

They looked past the disability and saw the funny, warm and capable people they are.  It is so easy in a world that appears to seek perfection to discount those that do not have the same abilities us, however it is a gift to see ability when others only saw obstacles.”
