PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY

On Wednesday 22nd August, our staff came together to work on excellence in teaching and reviewing our instructional model.

DOCTORS IN SCHOOLS

There is a clinic operating on school grounds each Tuesday to provide free access to primary health care for students at our school.

As is the case with all medical practices, young people have the right to access medical assistance when and where necessary.  Please access our website for policies relating to consent and confidentiality:

PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS and REPORTING – Term 3

SPA reports have been uploaded to Xuno. We encourage students and parents to study the results in each category for each subject and consider how well they have gone and how they might be able to improve as the semester progresses.

The SPA report encourages this discussion not just between parents and students but also between students and their teachers. The SPA reports, in addition to the Learning Goals developed and discussed at the First Day Student Conferences earlier in the year and during Teacher Advisor sessions will form an excellent talking point for our Parent/Teacher interviews at the end of this term.

Parent Teacher Interviews are being held this term on: Thursday 20th September – 4.00pm to 7.00pm and Friday 21st September – 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Interviews will be conducted in the Personal Learning Centre, Senior Study Centre and the Science Centre.

Teacher Advisors, Support Staff, Classroom Teachers and Year Level Team Leaders would love to see as many parents and students in attendance as possible.

Interview times will be booked using an online booking system on Xuno similar to the one used at the beginning of the year for the first day student conferences and Term 1 Parent/Teacher interviews.
