Trivia Night – Save the Date
Saturday 9 September, 7pm – 10.30pm
Save the date and get ready to pack your bags for a night of globe-trotting fun at GEC’s ‘Around the World’ themed Trivia Night & Silent Auction. This major fundraiser and social event for 2023 is being organised by GECPA.

Donations for Silent Auction
If you have items to donate for the Silent Auction and prizes - or can help source them from the businesses you frequent - please email gecpa@gec.vic.edu.au with ‘Silent Auction’ in the subject line.
All funds raised will support our Glen Eira College students through improvement projects at GEC.
Sausage Sizzle
A huge thank you to the GEC parent volunteers (and teachers) who helped GECPA host its first trackside Sausage Sizzle at the recent GEC Athletics Day. This tasty addition to the Athletics Day was highly popular and we look forward to providing it again next year.
Working Bees
Did you know that working bees organised by GECPA are held once per month at GEC to help maintain and enhance the school grounds. These are open to the whole GEC community. Help take pride in our school and pop one of these upcoming dates in your diary: Sunday 18th June and Sunday 16th July, 3pm-5pm.
You don’t need to bring any equipment, though you can if you wish. You just need to turn up, even if just for 1 hour – it all makes a difference.
Second Hand Uniform Stall
The next second hand uniform stall is planned for early Term 3. The stall date once confirmed will be published on the Xuno home page in the Calendar and Latest News sections.
Donations of pre-loved uniforms, newly washed in resaleable condition, are gratefully accepted and can be dropped into the GEC office.
Running of this valued service is reliant on parent volunteers, so we would love to hear from you if you think you can help out. Please email gecpa@gec.vic.edu.au with ‘Uniform Stall’ in the subject bar.
GEC Neurodiverse Parents Support Group
Parents with students who are neurodiverse meet in a local café on weekends bi-monthly and have a whatsapp group, to support our kids, the school in meeting their needs and each other. To find out more please call Alicia (0422566951) or Cathy (0412119807) or email gecpa@gec.vic.edu.au

Building School Community
It takes a community of support and parent participation to build and strengthen our school community, to benefit our children’s school life at GEC.
You can contact GECPA anytime via gecpa@gec.vic.edu.au to help out in any capacity, ask questions or make suggestions. Whatever time and support you are able to offer is most appreciated.
