Education Perfect Competition

From 24th April until 15th May, students were challenged to earn as many points as they could in an Education Perfect Competition for Japanese. 244 students participated, earning over 56,000 points and answering over 167,000 questions! The winner of the competition, earning an impressive 5,529 points was..... Vicci Angelle Montederamos in 9E!

Angelle was awarded two free tickets to the Box Hill Japan Festival held on 21st May. A short reflection from Angelle:

After a three-year absence due to the pandemic, attending the Japan Festival this year was especially amazing. Despite the hype and long lines, it was worth it. We witnessed captivating performances, including a drum show. While the crowd rushed to the raffles, food stalls, and bustling shops in the lower hall, we indulged in various activities like crafting origami cranes, reading Japanese literature, admiring train models, and observing a serene tea ceremony.

Closely following Angelle were our other medal winners:

Kristian Piasecki 8G - 4,448 points (Gold)

Aditya Patel 7A - 2,571 points (Gold)

Amelia Zhu 7E - 2,128 points (Gold)

Ella Mor 7G - 2,014 points (Gold)

Damian Richardson 7G - 1,590 points (Silver)

Shivam Prajapati 8B - 1,186 points (Bronze)

Congratulations Angelle and to everyone who participated!
