Year 9 Visual Arts: Expressive Eyes Task
You have probably heard the phrase: ‘the eyes are the windows to the soul’. In this unit students explored a range of media and techniques to create an expressive self-portrait artwork based on the subject matter of ‘Expressive Eyes’. Each final artwork has been created on the surface of a timber block using each student’s preferred media. Most students chose from oil pastel, acrylic paint, charcoal, soft pastel or pencil.
