District Cross Country
On Tuesday the 9th of May, 60 students from Grades 4-6 went to District Cross Country at Sweeney Reserve. The 11 and 12/13 year olds ran 3 kilometres and the 10 year olds ran 2 kilometres. We were there from 11am to 1:30pm and the weather wasn’t too bad, just a little bit of rain. Out of 8 schools, Berwick Chase came a great placing of 5th. We are so happy with how well the students went on the day. We had a few lucky students who finished in the top 10 and made Divisional Cross Country. Congratulations to Scarlett R, Dalwyn G, Sam C, Hudson L, Tosh G and Payton S who made it through. It was a great day and everybody had lots of fun.

St Margaret's Netball Challenge
On Wednesday 10th May, 30 Grade 6 girls competed in a Netball Challenge. This was held at St Margaret's Berwick Grammar School. These girls competed against multiple other schools in the 2 divisions. We had 3 Berwick Chase teams who did exceptionally well throughout the day. The 3 teams finished in amazing places of 10th, 11th and 12th. The girls showed great sportsmanship and teamwork together. That day was a great day and the girls had lots of fun. We are very thankful for the parent and teachers who helped on that day.

Girls Footy
On Wednesday, 24 May, 24 girls from Berwick Chase Primary School participated in Girls Footy. The girls played astonishingly and made it to the finals. They played four games, won two, tied once and lost once.
The Grand Final scores were 13 to 13 but Berwick Fields won due to their win in the previous match with us.
The girls teamwork, sportsmanship and effort put in to this was outrageous.
BIG THANKS TO JENNA FOR BEING AN INSPIRING COACH.
