Canteen Helpers

It has been a few years since we have been able to have volunteer canteen helpers onsite, but we are pleased to announce that we are able to start this up again. All volunteers must hold, and provide a copy of, a valid Working With Children's Check. Volunteer checks are free of charge and can be applied for through the Post Office.  

We are looking for volunteers to help out between the hours of 11:45 and 1:30pm, Tuesday to Friday each week. If you are able to help out please contact the office and we will organise a roster of volunteers. 

Canteen

The school canteen is open from Tuesday to Friday each week. All lunch orders must be written on a brown paper bag, which are available from IGA and Woolworths. Please write the students name, class and order on the bag and place money inside the bag.

The canteen will also be open for counter sales at recess and lunchtime on these days. Students are able to purchase snacks, drinks and icy poles/ice creams. 

Single Use Plastic Items Ban

As per the new Victorian Government Guidelines we are no longer allowed to use single use plastic items within our canteen. This includes plastic plates, forks, spoons, straws etc, and includes straws supplied with juice boxes. We are currently sourcing alternative supplies. Students are welcome to bring along their own reusable cutlery to use if they would prefer.
