Rock climbing

On the 24th of May, the Year 10 Outdoor Education students went to Cliffhanger Rock Climbing centre in Altona. The excursion was aimed to give students a unique experience into an outdoor experience, taken from the natural environment and transformed into a man-made indoor activity.

On this excursion they developed team working skills, communication skills, agility, mental awareness and strength. Students were paired up with a friend, working together to allow one person to challenge the climbing wall, while the other was their belayer, assisting them up and down the wall. All students worked extremely well, testing their abilities and facing their fears. Well done Year 10s!
