Year 11 Geography Fieldwork excursion

Year 11 Geography students have been studying hydro-metrological events as part of their Hazards and Disasters Unit. On Friday 26th May students undertook fieldwork in South Melbourne as part of their Assessment.

The students explored how water has been managed in an urban environment and compared this to how other hydro-metrological events, such as bushfires, are responded to.  Activities included annotated field sketches, analysis of environmental land management within urban environments and human activity data collation.

We also enjoyed lunch and hot jam donuts at South Melbourne Market.
