Foodbank Donation Drive

Thank you to our amazing school community who donated to our food drive for the Gisborne CommunityCare Foodbank that we ran this term.  Wally and Cheryl from the Foodbank attended GSC on Friday to collect the donated goods and met with student leaders Charlotte L, Hattie P and Helena F as well as Russell Wigginton, Assistant Principal and Christopher Hewitt, Senior School Leader Student Engagement and Wellbeing.

Food insecurity is a growing issue within our local and broader community, and it was humbling to see the volume of donations received in support of those in need in our community.  In addition to the generous selection of non-perishable items, our VCE-VM students harvested fresh produce from the College vegetable garden to also donate.
