Year 12 Art Making and Exhibiting – Semester Update

Last week marked the finalisation of Unit 3 in the new VCE Study Design (formally Studio Arts). Students were required to make at least two trial artworks as well as produce an art journal of extensive development work. It was a big semester and the students did fantastically well in presenting their work to the class in the new critique format of the study design. It was a very busy and stressful unit and the students showed great resilience and focus to fulfil the requirements and create some great trial artworks. 

The students will now reimagine their trial artworks in Unit 4 and make bigger and better versions for exhibition. Congratulations to all Year 12 Art Making & Exhibiting students for their commitment and dedication in Unit 3. We look forward to sharing our finished suite of works as we hit the home bend in term 3 and 4.
