Winners Celebrate!

2022 Premier's Reading Challenge

Last week a morning tea was held in our School Library to honour the remarkable achievements of our students who participated in the 2022 NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge. 

The event recognised the students’ dedication to reading. Certificates were handed out to all students, as well as numerous gold and platinum certificates. 

We also celebrated two outstanding students - Valentina Nguyen and Aiden Sem (pictured in the photograph above) who completed the reading challenge for nine consecutive years. They were awarded medals in recognition of their remarkable commitment to reading. 

A total of 62 students completed the Challenge in 2022. These students are rewarded with CHAMP points, and their achievement noted on their school reports. At Cecil we value our readers.

We are looking forward to more success with the 2023 Challenge which is underway. This year’s challenge closes on Friday 18th August. Keep reading and see our Library staff if you need help entering your reading record.
