NSWCHSSA Swimming

Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed at the CHS swimming championships in Sydney. Everyone swam well with personal best performances across the field. Well done, you represented THS & the Northwest with pride.

Athletics Carnival

On Friday 12 May the Tenterfield High School Athletics Carnival was held with another excellent display of THS spirit and effort. The fashions on the field went to the Senior Girls who dressed in "heavenly" attire. The Nun’s habit restricted the girls running somewhat, although they were still victorious in the “Nun’s vs Teachers” relay race.

Student effort was at an all-time high. All students in attendance provided support to their peers & everyone gave 100% effort & enthusiasm.

There were some non-competitive novelty events this year including, Tug-o-war and the sack race, which made for lots of laughs and spills. At competitive events, the competition was fierce, and spirits were high. The High and Long Jump event was a standout for student spirit and participation. The support and encouragement that students provided was second to none. The cheering and high fives that were displayed showcased Tenterfield's amazing school spirit.

The track events went ahead with thundering legs rounding bends and hitting the straights. By the end of the day students' legs were heavy and tired from running the 800m, 400m, 200m and 100m races.

A special mention to the students below who received Age Champion and Runners Up positions. The Age Champion points were very close with very few points the difference between Age Champion and Runners up.
