Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Group  

A Junior AECG election was held yesterday with the Aboriginal students who voted in the following executives.

Marri-char - President

Nariah Chamberlain - Vice President

Jasmine Stuart - Secretary

Junior AECG is a platform that gives students a voice and agency within their school community. Students actively participate in the decision-making process around things that shape their educational experiences. 

The AECG supports Aboriginal students voice and having their ideas and opinions considered. It establishes a students sense of belonging, builds positive relationships with teachers and peers and acknowledges their diverse and unique cultural identity.
