Technology & Applied Studies (TAS)

Mrs Cooper's Year 7 & 8 Food Technology students have been hard at it in their practical lessons.  Year 7 produced Cheese & Bacon rolls & Year 8 Savoury Potatoes.

Defence Force Presentation

Over 40 students attended the Defence Force presentation at THS on Tuesday 16 May. Students were provided information on the career paths within the Airforce, Army & Navy. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students, thank you to Mrs Clothier for organising the visit.

UNE Open Day

Year 11 students had the opportunity to attend the UNE open day in Armidale on 5 May. The day is aimed at providing seniors with information on the type of courses available, tours of the campus & residential college. A great opportunity for our students, thank you once again to Mrs Clothier for arranging to take them to Armidale to attend.

Wellbeing

Congratulations to all the students reaching Bronze level in Term 1 of our positive merit scheme. The following students were winners in the raffle drawn on 9 May & won assorted prizes including $5 canteen vouchers, handballs & stationary kits.

Multi- Categoric

Students & staff celebrated Senior's week at Bingo & Bowls at the Tenterfield Bowling Club on 10 May. Crystal won the 1st game of Bingo for the day! A great opportunity for the students to share in the events & enjoy time with our local seniors.
