Welcome to Term 4! This Term is again action packed. The Junior School students and staff look refreshed and ready to go.
Towards the end of Term 3 the Year 6 students enjoyed a fantastic attended a camp at Woodman Point Campsite in Coogee. The Camp provided an opportunity for students to connect with their peers whilst building a sense of independence being away from their family and the comforts of home for two nights. During the Camp the students participated in outdoor and indoor adventure. While the weather was challenging, this did not stop us! This experience was fun-filled, educational and character-building.
Several Year 6 students are now currently preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation to be held next week, Sunday 23 October at 6:00pm with Archbishop Timothy and Father Mark.
Year 5 students are gearing up for 2023 Leadership roles and nominations. This process requires preparation, planning, resilience and public speaking skills. An exciting time for our future leaders at Salvado catholic College!
Year 4 students are continuing their Geography theme around Africa and Europe by researching, planning and presenting an individual project about a country of their choice.
They will learn about the earths precious resources and how we can protect them for future generations.
Year 3 students are preparing for a Design & Technologies challenge which involves investigating how different materials can be used in the design of a marble run. Students have to designing a marble run and plan a sequence of production steps, selecting and using materials and tools safely. They are definitely up for the challenge!
