Year 7 & Year 8
We finished Term 3 with some excitement when on Wednesday 21st September our Year 7 and 8 students, parents and teachers gathered to celebrate the end of a challenging term. Our Middle School assembly was MCd by Gabriel Chase and run by the House Representatives including Krys Marie-Louise, Anthony Godinho McLeod, William McKinley as well as Sean Mulligan. Our Year 7 students including Harry Schrape, Max Richardson and Flora Doherty helped out by creating our wonderful end of term video.
It was also great to see so many certificates distributed and the close results of the Inter-House competition; there is a close tussle to see who wins the title this year. Congratulations to our leading Merit recipients for Term 3 who will enjoy some pizza for lunch early in week 2.
Thank you to parents/carers who supported the College by ensuring that the uniform and personal presentation of their children was of the highest standard for the first day of term. This ensured your child was set up for success from day one by ensuring they meet the College expectations asked of them.
Although it's the last Term of the year, it will be jammed-packed full of events during and after school. It's a great time to encourage your children to get involved. A quick look at the calendar shows House Days, Year 8 Lightning Carnival, Colour Run and Presentation Evening, plus all our co-curricular activities, including Dance, Band and Homework Club.
We look forward to our students working to the best of their abilities in and out of the classroom as we draw closer to the end of year reports.
